New Album Releases of December 2009

December is full of new music releases and who could complain?
And new music releases in December perfectly coincide with the
Christmas season. So I'm sure any one of these will make a great
gift yourself or someone else.

Of course, one of my favorites, 30 Seconds to Mars has a new
album to rock out to. Recently i saw the Kings and Queens video
for the first time and the song is excellent. Then there's a whole
mix of rappers who look to capitalize on the holiday spending
frenzy their fans will undoubtedly go on. But I'm more into the
rock and related genres of music. So i am most looking forward to
30 Seconds to Mars, The Bravery and Mudvayne. But i may just take
a listen to Clipse and Timbaland's new albums.

Dessert Recipe Ideas for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is never a Thanksgiving without an excellent selection of desserts for your and your family and/or guests enjoyment. Whether it's the common pumpkin and apple pies up to the more dedicated creations of cheesecake and pecan pies, a sweet is a definite part of every Thanksgiving.

If you're like me and my family you'll spend the days leading up to Thanksgiving and maybe even Thanksgiving day looking up recipes including dessert recipes. So here are some great Thanksgiving dessert recipe ideas to help your preparations along.

Pumpkin Cheesecake is an excellent take on the traditional pumpkin pie and cheesecake combined to make for a delicious pumpkin dessert. Like most pies, it's best to make them the day before Thanksgiving.

Caramelized Apple and Pecan Pie is, like above, a combination of two pies in one. This one being a mix of apple and pecan pies. And i have to say this one is the most delicious-looking pie out of them all.

Pumpkin Bars can make for a nice little snack before the larger Thanksgiving meal. That is, if your guests can take both and not over-stuff themselves :-) They're also really easy to make and can be made on Thanksgiving morning, prior to guests arriving, or the night before.

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus the Movie

This 2001 movie, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", is a great Christmas movie to get you into the spirit of the season. It may never end up being a classic Christmas movie along the lines of Prancer, Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street or any other classic but it's still sure to be a favorite to many.

What's enjoyable about I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus are the comedic scenes sprinkled throughout the movie and that the actors aren't bad either. What's more, this movie doesn't lack beautiful scenes being filmed in Utah and all. So, if you're looking for a film to warm you up to the beginning of the Christmas season, like a warm cup of cider, then I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus is definitely one of these films.

CW to Air Remaining Episode of, "The Beautiful Life"

The Beautiful Life's official Facebook page announced on Sunday that the CW is going to air the final two remaining episodes of the show alongside the two already shown on the CW. The two episodes were previously un-aired after the show was cancelled on September 25th during the production of the seventh episode. The only thing is that those interested will have to wait a while....until the summer of 2010 to see the last two episodes.

What's still up in the "air" though is if The Beautiful Life will officially return to the CW. I say that if a show like Glee can stay on the air, on Fox, then i believe that The Beautiful Life could too. But I'm not that confident if it will be coming back permanently. Yet, I'm glad they're showing the final two recorded episodes regardless.
